in school (here in Ireland) the whole school, teachers, assistants, head, deputy head and pupils and sometimes parents dress up for
Oiche Shamhna /halloween for the day. it's great fun and there are prizes to be had for original and fun outfits, local paper etc.

Am looking for something a bit different beyond the usual vampires, zombies, devils, harry potter, wally, superheroes, pirates, farmers, vikings, cowboys blah blah.

have your boys any inspiration for my son. to buy or to make.

Thanks in anticipation

Although he might be classed as a hero..

I have made a car for DS to dress up as a racing driver. It's a cardboard box he will step into a is held up with ribbon. I have painted it and used paperplates for wheels and a loo roll holder for an exhaust pipe. A bit like this but so it will fit around his waist. www.repeatcrafterme.com/2012/02/cardboard-box-car.html

my 7 year old likes dressing up as

"spy dog"- one of his favourite book characters.
= pale grey clothes with patches of black fun fur tacked on. a "dog collar" with name tag, and dog ears on a hair band thingy.

spider - black top and a belt with 8 legs hanging off it, all with shoes on the end.

one of the kids in his class dressed as a snail, brown trews and top and a brown paper shell, made with that big packing sheet paper that amazon et al fill boxes with.

thanks. we are Finn's biggest fans in this house (return to the nightosphere is our all time favorite.) and yes, he is a hero to us.

Finn would be soooooo cool. I shall raid the wardrobe for lookalikey clothes.

We just watched the episode with BMO as a detective tonight. Soooo good! Wish I was craftier so I could dress up as BMO!

DH bought DS a Finn backpack and hat from (I think) etsy. took ages to find anyone based in UK that made them!

How about a scarecrow. Ripped clothes, woolly hat and straw stuck out of the pockets/hat? Grin
