we pay £2.25 for ours - Joey loved it loads of floating on his back bit of front, did 3 songs and a couple of dunks (not so keen on those)

Whereabout in W/Midlands? Cov Sprots Centre do them as does a pool in Leamington Spa and I think Kenilworth Pool.

the local swimming pool in stourbridge does them but not until 6 months and i am interested in the baby swimming classes where they still have their natural breath-holding reflex thing. i got a leaflet from a company called baba seahorse and theirs are £10 for 25 minutes, but they get awards from it too.

My dd started in January at 7 months. We pay termly but it works out at about £3.40 per 30min lesson, and then we have some freetime afterwards. I'm in Somerset though, and our centre is a community run non-profit making organisation.
Although we started lessons in Jan, she's been going swimming since she was 7 weeks, and she loves it. Does the breath holding thing etc, although I never had the courage to let her go! Would recommend it though, I don't like swimming much but I love taking her there.

littleB - what were the lessons like that you took your 7 month old to? did they use swimming aids etc?
