3 year old ds dribbling

hello, please can you offer any suggestions as to why my 3 year old ds is dribbling like a baby/toddler all over again? He has all his teeth and when I ask, doesn't admit he has tooth ache. It's rather frustrating as I'm not sure of the cause; is he just being lazy and not swallowing/keeping his mouth closed and should I be addressing it with naughty step

Tia, x

Does he have smelly breath? He may have a mouth infection. My 3 yr old DD started doing this and I was getting very annoyed until I discovered white ulcers in her very smelly mouth, I felt awful, she needed antibiotics bless her. Refrain from naughty step just yet!
