My DD started at a new school on Monday - she's in Y4. Days 1 & 2 were so promising - she was so enthused with it, but today is another story; Complete meltdown, she is still awake now thinking about her day.
I think it's mainly playground stuff that has upset her - another girl called her a stupid weirdo for example. Just trying to work out how to handle it really - i don't want to brush her anguish aside as she's clearly very upset but at the same time letting her talk about it for hours isn't helping either... any advice gratefully received.
