Head banging!

Am I the only one to worry about dd banging her head constantly on her cot? She's 11 months old and is half asleep, moving around, sits up then rolls forward and bang there goes her head on the bars again. I know cot bumpers have been used etc but they are not recommended now and I just had them on for decoration before dd could roll around. (American studies link them with SIDS).
Am considering putting her full time in her travel cot until she's a bit older. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't bother - I worried about it at first, as my 6mo is constantly doing the same so I'd move him to the middle of the cot, only to find 1 minute later he'd be smashing himself against the bars again.

Now I just assume if he doesn't wake up then it can't be doing any damage or hurting him - plenty of time for that once he starts walking on our wooden floors!
