I think you should ignore the crying.Like you said you havent had the time etc to train her up to now,maybe she is wanting more attention re training(if you get what Imean)

You have to help her to be ready with lots of praise and lots of patience. Potty training is more of a challenge than I expected but we are getting there slowly.

sounds like you should definitly NOT put the nappy back on

I think you need to make her feel really special , encourage tons and ignore the crying
she may be feeling a little overwhelmed and just needs some extra support and encouragement to carry on

No, don't go back to nappies. My boy got off to a really good start then decided to exercise his control and got a bit resistant but has since calmed down and is slowly getting better and better. Once he got used to pants he much prefered them, far nicer than a sweaty nappy in the hot weather. You might be thinking in a few days that it just isn't working out and then you will have a bit of a break through. It's tough, wee and poo is all we have talked about for weeks in this house.
