Ok. I admit. Haven't taken her to the HV since she was 6 months old. She's thriving. Happy little thing.

Anyway. Got out the scales this morning, weighed me first and then me and her together. I think she weighs 23lbs. According to the red book charts, she is 91st percentile!!! Shock

She was only 6lb born (although she was early) and was only 8lb 2 when she was 9 weeks.

She doesn't look particularly big to me. She's quite long. I'm just a bit Shock that if I do take her to the HV/Docs they're going to go, Hmm..she's big!

She has two 7oz milk bottles a day and 3 meals. Not really one for snacks. Lots of veg and protein really.

What do you lovely MN's think?? Time to start cutting her food, or just let her even out in time? (also panicking because my friend's 2 yr old is only 24 lbs!!!)

1lb in one year? DD1 did that. She was 7lbs6oz at birth, 21lbs aged 1. She the learnt to walk and by age 2, she was 22lbs, and a whole lot skinnier. She was a very chubby short 1 year old! She's nearly 6 now, and still skinny, never stops moving and can eat her own bodyweight twice a day... I'm not much jealous, honest!
