What time do your DC go to bed on a school night

I have two DS DS1 is 8.11 and DS2 is 6.5.DS2 bedtime is 7.30 on school night and DS 1 bedtime is 8.30.I don't have any trouble with them going to bed at these times but DS 1 has said that a few of his friends go to bed later...was just curious to see what other mums do.

DS 10 and DS 8 both go around 8.30pm. DS10 9.30 on a scouts night

ds (9) and dd (7) both go upstairs at 7pm and read until *pm, then they have a glass of milk, clean teeth and lights out, asleep hopefully by 8.30pm

DS's 6.8 & 5.2 both go at 7-7.15. Pressure from family (light pressure might I add) to let them stay up longer, esp the eldest, but when they lose even a bit at the weekend it shows so I figure as long as they still need 11-12 hrs per night I'll keep it at that (and DH and I are ready for a quiet night/dinner by 7!)

At primary school they would be in bed by 8 on a school night, 9 at the weekend.
Ds 14 goes at 9.30 now, dd 17 is usually tucked up by 10.30.

We are all early to bed in our house...I often go at 9.

Dd aged 10 goes up to bed at 10pm, then she reads and is usually asleep around 11pm. She wakes up bright and breezy at 7am and so whilst it's later than most it gives her enough sleep At weekends it's much later, I usually go up at 11pm leaving her and dh to it.

4 and 6 year old go to bed around 7pm with their baby brother. This is vital because the 6 year old is not sleeping well and gets up really early regardless of what we do and often wakes the 4 year old when she does so. The 6 year old's sleeping problems are our biggest issue at the moment, as it obviously effects everything.

9 year old goes to bed about an hour later.

dd nearly 10 - 8.30pm school night
ds (7) -8pm school nights
they get an hour extra at weekends/holidays

Dd1,2&3 all go upstairs at 6.30. lights off 6.45-7.00.

well I think it sort of depends how early you need to leave in the mornings if you need to leave house at 8.45 as 5 minute walk it could be reasonable for a 5 year old to go to bed at 8pm an wake 7-7.30 however if same 5 year old needs to be with childminder before 8am to get the same amount of sleep would probably need a bedtime of 7pm or earlier

my DD is 4 and generally sleeps 8pm-7am we do not need to leave before 8am so it suits us as we all eat together at night at 6-6.30pm and she sees DH more but it would not work for everyone

DS (9) generally gets up at 9 in the week, after at weekends. He reads in bed, but ones ind it hard to relax and go t sleep. He has never slept much, even as a baby.

DD1 (6.5) should go up to be in bed by 8, but she thinks this is too early as DD2 (3 today) goes up then or later. We are having problems with DD2 who doesn't want to sleep and definitely not in her own bed. We are currently working on the where, once that battle is won, I'll work on when.

DS goes up t 9 not gets up at 9!

DDs age 9 and 4 both go to bed at 7pm school nights.

Later at weekends.

4yrs 7pm asleep -6am waking

6 year old 7:30
10 year old 8:00

They both often have to be woken up at 7:30am.

DD - 12 yrs - between 9 and 9.30 but she often faffs around till 10 in her room.

DS1 - 10 yrs - Up to bed at 8.45 and asleep usually by 9.30.

DS2 - 4 yrs - up to bed at 7.15 and usually asleep by 7.45 at latest.

The boys wake up between 5.30 and 6.30am

DD has to be woken by me on school days.

Ds1 is 14, nearly 15, and goes at 10pm.
Ds2 is 12 and goes at 9pm
Dd is 7.5 and goes at 8pm .
That's school day bedtimes.

DD is 9 and goes anytime between 8.00 and 12.30
it varies a lot.
If its before 9.30 she reads.

She doesn't start start in the morning until quite late though if late to bed.

Ds 4.11 goes to bed at 7pm every night including weekends as he needs the strict routine , he is usually asleep by 7.30 & wakes anywhere between 5am & 7am

I think 8.30 lights out at 9 at that sort of age.

DD1 has never gone to bed before 8, because that's when she's tired.

DD2 (3 years younger) went to bed same times as DD1, because she was as stubbon as they come and refused to a acknowledge the existence of age gaps.

Only at around 9-10 did DD2 decide that there was no shame in sometimes admitting she was tired and going to bed before DD1.

They are now 12 and 15 and DD1 disappeared at about 10pm and DD2 about 10.30

DD2 may be asleep, DD1 may well be reading. Sometime after 12 I'll check.

DS age 7 goes to bed at 7pm but reads in bed for c1/2hr.

My twins will be 9 this coming January and go to bed ideally by 8 on a school night, but realistically it's often nearer 9 because of stuff like Brownies or we were at an event tonight. Ds will get up about 7 tomorrow, but I will have to drag dd out of bed at 8 and we leave at 830 as only 10 minute walk from school.

I think 9 year olds are supposed to have about 10 hours and I think they usually get that. Nhs website will tell you.
Tell your ds that some of his friends will definitely be lying because kids always do about bedtimes.

DS 6, 7pm on a school night (up at 5.30 for nursery). 7.30pm at weekends as normally shattered bless him.

DS(4.10) goes to bed between 7pm and 7.30pm but pisses about until anything up to 9.30pm and wakes between 7am and 8am
