What do you do to unwind

Hi

What to you do to unwind after a busy/stressful day at work and once you've put your little one to sleep?

Any suggestions that do not involve staring at the TV or computer?

No help but watching in interest as I need to get my bum off the sofa and step away from the wine.
I did some baking last week which I found relaxing (not helpful to my thighs though!)

I knit. I find the actual achievement of something really satisfying (so much of childrearing is unproductive grind...) and also the problem-solving crossed with the simple repetition both takes me out of myself and calms me. I swim in the evenings too. We don't have tv, which helps.

Read, paint, crochet, write.

We get a board game out usually scrabble. Of course a glass of wine also helps..otherwise a run blows away the stresses from the day Smile

All I have the energy for is to sit and dribble in front of the telly!
