My dd1 started nursery in April and since then shes been off 6 times due to illness. She constantly has a cough with lots of phlegm which makes her vomit. I prop her up at night and do all the 'normal' stuff thats supposedly helps this lol.
I know that she has to catch all this before she starts building immunity ( gps advice every time i take her which has been 3 times). I phoned this morning and told school that she will be ok to go back tomorrow.
I cant help feelibg guilty that shes off and dont want yhe nursery to think im lazy and cant b bothered sending her.
If i sent her, she would vomit and I would have to go pick her up anyway.
Im not over anxious, i just dont want her to puke over nursery or pass anything on the other kids. I have seen parents send the kids when their really ill then all the other kids catch it. Then when my dd1 eventually gets better, she ends up bunged up again.
Anyone else been in this situation
