My 7 year old ds is getting Pubic Hair

i dont have dd but i started getting hair aroung 10/11. if you are worried have a chat with the HV

i would think it depends on a lot of factors - when did you start puberty for instance? Also if its just a few fine hairs then no possibly not really abnormal - it can take years for the real thing to complete

Have a word with your school nurse though if you're worried

sweaty armpits as well - we are seeing a doc 2mw as he needs a circumcision (medical reasons)so i will point it out

Sorry, but I just don't see it as abnormal! I went to school with a girl who started her periods at age 8. All children are different, surely. The only thing that would worry me is to reasure (sp) your ds/dd that they are not abnormal and teach them how to keep clean and wash properly etc IYKWIM.

I wouldn't say it was abnormal but I do think it's unusual, especially in boys who generally enter puberty a bit later than girls anyway. Best speak to your GP.
