Double/Twin Pushchairs - Again!!!

I have a dilemma, I need a double/twin pushchair that has seats wide enough for my strapping ds, and comfy enough for baby. Have tried the Maclaren which is too narrow, the Powertwin which has not got enough legroom for ds,he likes to put his feet on the wheel, the Graco Tandem which is really difficult to manouver, and the M&P Aria which is hard to manouver and too narrow and lastly the Marco Sky which had no room at the back. I don;t like the idea of the Phil & Ted as the wheels are so close to the bottom child and I need a basket also. Any ideas?

Jane Powertwin... This is the buggy I wanted... V.Pricey tho... Due to this we went for Kidz Kargo discovera tandem... Both are 3 wheelers.

No idea at all, not used it much due to ds trying to put his feet on the wheel, it depends how much a suitable replacement will cost. As long as I cover the cost of a new one it doesnt matter.

Have you tried a pushchair with a removable toddler seat?

What about a Mountain buggy urban double, a Phil and Ted's e3 twin or an ABC Everest twin?

I started off with a Jane, until the boys got fed up with it, then went on to an emmaljunga twin cerox. Huge pram, but very comfortable.

I think the mothercare urban detour three wheeler would be perfect for you if you don't mind them being on the wide side.

I did buy the Zopper tandem pushchair. There is a seat you can clip on the top for a toddler. The baby is just as comfy than in a single pushchair.
Downsides are : the toddler can go to sleep because the back seat is not high enough and there isn't a lot of room for the baby once he is sitting up (DS2 face was nearly on the back of DS1 seat).
TBH, I haven't found a perfect solution to the problem ...
