I'm not sure if dyeing them would work - polyester doesn't take dye very well - think they would come out patchy at best. You could try those fabric paint markers? I'd be reluctant to applique or embroider them coz I suspect they'd leak through the little holes. I have, however, found that letting DS eat tomato soup clad only in nappy and wrap produces an attractive orange pattern on the wrap that is an aboslute sod to get out

Wash them with a dark blue sheet that still bleeding dye and all the trim around the leg holes etc goes blue grey. Its more intersting than white but not quite what I call pretty. I might try it with a red thing next time and see if thats an improvement- purple maybe?

Would be intersted to hear if any one has tried printing with fabric paint or permant marker ink and ink stamps. Think that might be quite nice, maybe I'll try it with one of mine.

Have just spotted the problem with fabric paint - you have to iron it with a very hot iron. I'm not sure PUL could cope with that!
