8 week old routine and feeding schedule advice

Hi. I'm on my 2nd baby and she us 8 weeks old now. She is bottle fed and has slipped quite early on into 5 feeds a day of approx 6-7oz. Her current feeding schedule is as follows:
8am
12pm ish
4pm ish
8-9pm ish
3-4am

She naps well in the day and so generally I am happy with that side of things. My worry is the time she is having her bedtime feed. Ideally I'd like her to have it earlier (around 7.30pm) so that it ties in with her brother (3yrs old) going to bed and also ideally I'd like her to drop the 3-4am feed.

I'm not sure if this current routine is good going or not (can't quite recall how it went with my first but he did start sleeping through at 10weeks) and would welcome any comments or advice please!!!
Thanks
Helen

Well for 8 weeks it looks pretty good to me.
I don't know much about Ff but every 4 hours sounds right.
Only one night waking is very good at such an early stage I would say.
All I can suggest about the timings for bedtime is can you perhaps start to move every feed back by half an hour so
7:30
11:30
3:30
7:30
Does she really sleep thru til 8?
Or how about giving her a bit less at the 4pm feed so she is ready for more earlier?

Thanks for responding!! She doesn't sleep straight through to 8, she wakes naturally before then and is happy to lie and look about for half an hour or so while I am faffing getting my little boy sorted! Because she is happy to wait I focus on him when actually I should probably get her fed when she wakes and that will shift the rest of the day feeds like you suggested.

I'll give that a go tomorrow and and see how I get on!

Yes, I'd start moving them back a bit too. That's pretty much exactly how DD was at that age. Sounds like your DD is a big eater like mine too!

We also introduced a dream feed - at around 12 weeks, I think. We feed her at 11pm and this enables her to go through til 6.30am ish then, when she gets up and has a feed around 7am.

She's 7 months now and we're phasing that out slowly because she doesn't really need it any more.

Congrats!
