Hi my dd is nearly 11 months now and has 3 meals a day including cheese, yogurt etc she was having 2 10 ounce bottles morning and night now it seems she doesn't want it anymore? HV said its ok she is weaning herself off it? Has anybody else had a baby do this?

Hi Jemma,
Ds is 12 months, and is slowly cutting his milk feeds down as well. Used to have 28 oz in a day, as well as 3 meals a day, now he is down to 15 or so. From a year old, they only need about 350ml of milk per day, and this can be made up by yogurt and cheese etc.

We stopped dd's formula milk at 11 mo, she's just turned one. Like you describe, she got to the point where she was hardly drinking any so when the last tin ran out we didn't buy more. Now she's just drinking cows' milk and we get through something like 18 pints a week between the 4 of us Confused
