sorry for posting here but need quick advice from London Mumsnetters...I need to get from Kings X to Smith's Square in London (SW1P) have an hour and a bit to get there in a taxi as I will be carrying items...around 10.30ish is this possible do you think?

Much quicker by tube but change rather than go all the way round on the circle line.

tube will be much much quicker.
you mean Smith square i suppose

but if you really wanted to take a taxi rather than the tube then the timescale you suggest will be OK.

It's quickest to get the Victoria line direct to Pimlico, but there's a longer walk at the other end than if you're using Westminster. Depends how much you have to carry.

Was thinking kings cross to Victoria then change to Westminster...short straight walk from Westminster tube

Tube - a good rule of thumb is 3 minutes per stop and an extra 5 for a change. Taxi, I'd guess 20 minutes or half an hour, depending on traffic. Depends how flush you are! I love a black cab Smile
