Baby outgrown baby bouncer already

What do you use once they outgrow the bouncer? My little fellow is only 5 months old so we still use it to bounce him to sleep during the day and as a seat so he can look around. Unfortunately he's rather rotund and has already passed the maximum weight. What do I do now?

For us, we tried a couple of things. For sitting and seeing things, we used the Cushi Tush - bought for weaning (no point in highchair here, no dining table!) but got it at 4mo as it's suitable from when they hold their heads, and DS was (and still is, at 9mo) very comfy in it. Apparently it gives proper support to the back and legs and is used in some hospitals and nurseries. If you have or will be buying a high chair then you could use that.

For napping, we tried a few. We did comfy blankets/huge cushion on the floor, rocking in the pram, on my lap (!), and going into the cot. Surprisingly the cot worked - he would never nap in there before - when he shows tired signs we put him in there, sometimes with a lullaby playing, and he goes to sleep. Sometimes he talks to himself a little, sometimes he cries for a couple of minutes but it's his usual 'falling asleep' cry, and then he's out. He also naps for much longer since using the cot and his night time sleep improved too. Tbh I was a little nervous as he'd always been bounced to sleep in his chair but he just seemed to 'get' it when the time came.
