Hi there is one coming up in Manchester and I am wondering if any of you has been to a baby show before and if it's worth it. It's going to cost £20 for both of us to enter. Is it worth it ? Thanks !

Do you have DCs or are you pregnant atm? I went when about 30 weeks pregnant. Was hesitant but had to get out of the house that day (building work). Went and it was really good. Bought a couple of items (breastfeeding cushion) and blankets that were reduced. They also had an offer on the buggy that we were thinking about buying. If I'd been a bit more prepared it would have been a great bargain.

Do some research on what you might like a bit more info on- reusable nappies (I had no idea, it's a whole other world!), bottle feeding, buggies, and go and tap people for info. Now my DD is 5 months I'm wondering about going to one near us in October, I'm sure there were things about weaning that I might have missed. There are also lots of stalls with things that you didn't know you needed for your baby so be prepared!

But, they are not essential. Most stuff you can get online. Might be a nice thing to do with your mum/MIL or friends as a bonding type thing? I think my mum would have loved to come and look round with me to feel a bit more included in the pregnancy as she lives quite far away. So it could have a number of uses if you want. Smile
