5 month old not eating during the day and now not sleeping in the night

We need eating & sleep help!

For past month Zeek has been waking up for one feed after his 11 pm dream feed at around 4 or 5 am. Recently he's barely been eating all day and then waking up twice/three times in the night to mess about for an hr then have a small feed. We've noticed that he is basically making up his feeds at night instead of the day. And to make it worse he is waking at 5 or 6am to feed but then won't feed till around 10/11am and will only take about 3-4 ounces. Then the daytime cycle of not eating continues. He is teething but was wondering if that is the only thing that could be bothering him? Or is it sleep regression? We need help to get him eating again in the day so he can sleep at night.

I remember this age well. The child having middle of the night parties, fussy eating and clinginess. He made me cry so many times! It turned out to be teething and developmental for us, so a regression I suppose.

He learned to crawl at 5.5 months and his first tooth arrived then too.

Personally, I would try to drop the night feeds if it's putting it off his daytime milk. Try to settle another way if you can or reduce the oz in his nighttime bottles very gradually (we did this and it was a kind way of night weaning).
