5mo not sleeping

Hi all

My wonderful sleeper has turned into a nightmare over the last 2 weeks and I have gone back to work so feeling absolutely exhausted!

Used to sleep pretty much 7-6/7 with just one wake for a feed but now that is not the case! She goes to bed at 7 (we have a fairly rigid bath/story/bottle/bed routine) but now wakes at 1 or 2, then literally on the dot of 3.15 and is wide awake. Once we have spent 30 mins settling her she then wakes pretty much every hour until 6 when my husband brings her into bed with us!

She is now bottle fed as I am back at work and does not seem to need food at night. Is this classic sleep regression? Is there anything we can do to help things? We are both exhausted and both have to get up and work full time!

Do you think moving to her own room might help? Remove dummy? Offer a feed? Please help-starting to get sick with exhaustion and am desperate!

does she go to sleep by herself at bedtime, or drop off in your arms?

could she be teething?

The exact same thing has happened to us. My dd used to self soothe and sleep for 6hrs but now wakes up every 1.5hrs.
I have just decided to hope that its a phase and go with it. I bf and when she wakes up I bf her back to sleep even tho she isn't really hungry, she just wants the comfort. Someone on here suggested that it is the start of separation anxiety so should pass.
Last night I brought her cot back into our room and she slept loads better. I wondered whether it was because she knew we were close? Am not sure where we go from here tho!

My DS is 5.5months and we're having the same issues. He's never self settled but slept 7-7 until about a month ago (I'd transfer him to his cot in our room where he'd happily sleep).

Hoping it's just a phase...

What is happening when you go to work? She could have noticed you're not around any more in the day, maybe that is it?

Or it could just be normal. Also maybe she is just hungry, one thing about babies is they change all the time...!
