What to put on cruising baby feet?

DD is 11months, and cruising round. She's still a fair bit off walking though.

My dilemma is what to put on her feet? It's too cold now for bare feet, socks are okay on carpet, but lethal on vinyl, or get ruined when we're out.

I've seen some soft shoes by daisy roots, but I'm wary of buying anything that might harm her feet now that she's actually moving , and they look quite structured.

Someone must know!?

Mine wore those soft leather bootee things. Mine came from Inch Blue.

My DC lived in this sort of thing. Can probably find them cheaper. they're really soft and don't stunt foot growth. They also help keep socks on and feet snuggly.

They are really soft with a 'strip' of grip at the bottom. Not sure if they are 'right' though, but DD seems happy to wear them

Yes those leather booties are great - they just pull on and are ideal when they are only on their feet indoors. A chiropractor friend of mine recommended keeping babies in them as long as possible as they allow the baby to feel the floor better than proper shoes.

DS is cruising and I'm planning on getting some Inch Blue Shoes.

Had similar for DD (think hers were Bobux) at this stage and they worked really well.

I bought some thick socks with sticky bits on them- like slipper socks. The grippy bits mean she can stand up on the non-carpeted floors & they are cheaper than shoes. Off to find them on google. Will be back with their name if I manage

I like moccasins too - like Mocc Ons, they're a soft leather shoe on the bottom but have socks attached so they stay on easily and seem comfy. H&M do their own version for around £5 I believe, though I've not tried those.

I just let ds have bare feet, my policy is if it is cold enough for gloves I will put socks/moccasins on but otherwise his feet will only be as cold as his hands.

We had gorgeous thick wooly crochet boots with a moccasin sole - thy were fab as they stayed on, were toasty warm and allowed freedom of movement... Cottage something or other was the brand I think?

Ds is in Daisy Roots, they're luffly and soft! It's the Clarks ones at £26 that i think are outrageous

I've just ordered from here for my 11 mo twins. As far as I can see, they are pretty much the same as the Inch Blue shoes but only £6.99 . They arrived yesterday and I'm very happy with the quality. They look great and my babies are cruising and climbing as normal in them. Try also keep their socks on very well.

Does any one know what the sizing is like on the mocc ons? DS shoe size is a 2-2 1/2 and I wasn't sure if I should go for the 12-18 months or 18-24. He's 17 months with small feet.

Not sure about the mocc ons but the Dottyfish sizing is pretty accutrate. My twins are a size 3 and 4 and the 6-12 month shoes were perfect.

Funky Giraffe also do nice mocc-on style moccasins, they're much cheaper.

So I bought some snuggle feet, and I'm very impressed!

They arrived very quickly, are very cute and really soft.
They stay on really well, and don't seem to change anything about how DD uses her feet.
Even on the tiles she's not slipping, and has warm tootsies.

I did measure her foot length, so I could tell which size to get though - she has tiny feet like me!
