Our 8 yo dd is having difficulty settling into her new school (house move). 
She is worried that she has no friends, although I've told her it will take a while...
I've suggested joining lunch time clubs, which she wants to do but they've not started yet. DP and I have said to invite one or two children home for tea...
Have spoken to teacher who is aware and said she'll try and get some girls to play with her...
She isn't wanting to go to school at the mo, had a mysterious sore foot this morning...
Any tips to help her through this?
