Ive been sitting in her room for over half an hour while she stares at the ceiling and twirls her hair. She did this last night too- woke up around 2am wide awake then refused to let me go back to bed. I'm sooo tired! Hmm

Hi Alice, I'm up but with an almost three day old who will not sleep in how basket because he ONLY wants to sleep on me! So, sorry, I have no advice for your LO but can identify with the zero sleep. Smile

I'm up with 3yo dd who has got into the habit of waking to go to the toilet through the night. Sometimes she will settle well afterwards and sometimes it results in crying and screaming fit. Have just taken her to the loo and am lying awake in my bed now waiting to see which it will be tonight!

I'm up with 3 yr old who has jetlag. Been up since 1:30. Shoot me please.
I tried to tell him it was the middle of the night but he just started singing and playing with his cars.
Now my jetlag is kicking in and I'm AWAKE but super tired.
I'm feeling everyone's pain.

up after bf my 13 wk old dd. she's settled straight back down I'm wide awake.

op could your dc be having a little nightmare and be unsure and need the comfort after? not sure what you could do, but just a thought if it's a new thing. hope you get some sleep soon

Am scared to type this but I THINK dd has gone back to sleep. Turning over now!

OP hope you get sorted soon. On a bad night here it can take two hours to convince dd to go back to sleep. We he had to put a nightlight in her room as I suspect a nightmare started this whole waking up thing and now when she wakes she doesn't like that she is in her room on her own.

Oops I was wrong. She's still awake Hmm
