DP wants us to take turns putting DS to bed. Great, I hear you say! But he doesn't follow the routine I've been sticking to for months, He goes up and lets him PLAY, BOUNCE on the bed and RUN around. What's going to happen tomorrow when I take him up and lie him down do you think?

Not a good idea unless of course ds demands that daddy puts him to bed in which case dh gets to reap what he has sown

this really pi**es me off, my dp doesn't understand how regimented bedtime is, it makes it so much easier to stick to a routine. when he does it it gets later and later and more hap-hazard, then he goes back to work and im left with a child who doesn't want to go back to routine.
