5 year old dd has been at school 6 months. Suddenly she is crying and saying she doesn't want to go to school, she hates school, the day is too long etc. I have had a quiet word with her teacher and there are no problems, she is in all the top groups ability-wise, has a circle of nice friends and recently got a certificate at assembly for all-round effort! It is a lovely school and we actually moved to the area partly for the school. I don't work so she isn't in before or after school care, so her day is short compared to many.
Has anyone else had this experience? Is it just a matter of the 'honeymoon' being over?
