Bath toys

Bit of a random question, but how do people clean plastic bath toys?!? Tried lots of things to get rid of lime scale and crud but toys still look a bit grubby. Any ideas?

immerse them in white wine vinegar for a bit, then wash thoroughly.

Leave to soak in Milton. TBH I tend to get rid after a while though, especially the squirters, yuck!
