My ds was 2 march 8th.He is showing absolutely no signs of telling me when he is weeing or pooing.
He is such an excitable child and is always so busy.
When his nappy is off he starts to do a wee and acts surprised when it is coming out and says wee wee half way thru doing it.
Is this ok?
Im not in any rush to get him trained.Im a firm believer in waiting until they are very ready as dont want to take ages to do it.

This is great, he is 'experiencing and learning' what wee is all about!

This is how my dd started - whilst going through a phase of removing all clothes and nappies herself, she'd run around and have wee wee's. I kept a potty nearby and showed it to her each time she weed, saying thats where you should do your wees.

Eventually she started sitting on the potty, and then when she did her first wee she got such a big applause she thought she'd try again and there you have it!
