16month old dd wanting to use the potty, what do i do?

If she sees anyone on the toilet she tries to take her nappy off and gets really frustrated. do i let her sit on the potty now? is it too soon? is she just being a chweeky monkey Wink

yes let her.

but don't get too excited: ds has been using his since about 16 months but only now (2 and a half) is he actually getting the idea that it's instead of nappies rather than as well as, if you see what I mean.

I'd let her too. DS is now 17mths and loves to sit on the potty for a wee. At most nappy changes I sit him on it and he does a wee, even if it is only a few drops but I don't care as he gets the idea. Nowhere near trying to potty train him but can't see it doing any harm.
