Which potty do you recommend?

My daughters potty training is looming and I am just wondering what potty you found best?

What do you think of the chair like ones?

Already started a thread about potty versus toilet seat attachment and I am still confused! lol!

Thanks x

We went with Baby Bjorn products - chair potty with lift-out inner pot, and adjustable toilet seat attachments.
They are not the cheapest but they are durable and stable and have done us well for both children.
IME children like the potty at first because it is easier to get on to but once they are confidently dry they want to use the big loo like the rest of the family.
And there is no comparison between hoicking a juicy poo out of a potty and merely flushing the chain. Get them on the loo asap!

The cheapest of the cheap.Tesco value one, bout £1 I think.

asda cheapo lilac potty, and a 'trainer seat' for the loo. We still keep the potty in the car for a long journey (DD now 4)

Buy 2 - one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Stops the frantic dash when DD caught short.

Thanks for your replies Marina and Sugarfree :-)

I thought a chair potty would be easier as babies dont have to crouch down so much and they seem quite stable...then again i know sometimes the simplest things work best. At this rate I am goin to be talking about potty politics in my sleep! lol!

Thanks again :-)

I got 2 from Morrisons for 99p each - a purple one with an elephant sticker on the front and a blue one with a monkey sticker. We also have one upstairs and downstairs although dd likes to use the big toilet most of all. We did buy an all in one potty with insert that is also a step stool but she just uses the stool bit to get onto the toilet. We dont use the insert on the big toilet as she is good at holding onto the rim of the toilet seat by herself (she is 2 1/2 btw)
