Bed rail on a double bed

I co-sleep with dd2, after accidently dropping her out of bed Blush I need to get a bed rail for my side of the bed to ensure it doesn't happen again. My question is, will a normal bed rail attach to a double bed ok? I don't know how they attach and I don't want to buy one I can't use. Does anyone know?

Yes, they attach by basically have a big " foundation" that goes under the mattress, so it goes under any mattress. Sorry, I haven' t explained that very well. Imagine a bed guard, hinged across the long side to a similar size gate but not so nicely finished. Open that uo to a right angle, and slide the less.nice bit under the mattress, so the bed guard itself stands up alongside where yoy lie. Still not a great explanation, but an ordinary bef rail will fit a double brf.

Thanks, that's really helpful. Thanks a lot.

I use this one on a double bed. Works fine.

Safety first one works on our double bed, got it cheap in lidl a couple of weeks ago after dd rolled out of bed.

Thanks everyone, I have ordered one now, so hopefully can avoid any further baby-dropping incidents.
