2 year old is napping again

My DS stopped his daytime naps at around 15 months but he's recently been napping around 1 lately.

He's not coming down with anything so I've ruled that out.

I'm just wondering if this is normal? I know I may come across as ott but I'd rather ask Grin

He probably didn't quite mean to drop the nap- could have been a sleep regression which is quite common. It's rare for under 2s to not nap

So let him nap!

Embrace it! I think they change week by week. DC is a bit younger, but she almost went down to one nap and then suddenly wanted two good naps again. I know plenty of 3 year olds who still want a nap after lunch so it doesn't seem too odd.

Thank you for your responses. I'll leave him be. I don't like waking sleeping babies anyway but I was a bit worried as it's so unusual of him.

I agree, 15 months is very young to stop napping.

our 17mo has just gone back up to two naps again.

I'm 37 weeks pregnant. its bliss!
