when I say out of date...I mean I opened it on Tuesday and put the remaining half in the fridge. It says it keeps for 24 hours and I forgot to take it out of the fridge, so when the babysitter looked after him at lunchtime today.....

...am I over-angsting to be a bit worried...he seems ok at the moment (his sleep is a bit disturbed, but that could be a number of things), but he's been ill for a few days and off nursery with a tummy bug.

He doesn't normally eat babyfood either (13 mo)....I'm such an idiot.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Ah that's only an extra 24 hours, I doubt it would cause any problems. If it was fish or meat I presume your babysitter would have heated it first? If it was going to cause a problem he would likely have started with vomiting by now. He's also 13mo so a bit more robust than a 6mo who has only just started weaning. Don't worry and just keep an eye on him for peace of mind. I'm a GP btw!
