To feel sad that DS bonds more with DH

Exactly that, whenever he gets upset or wants something he always goes running to DH. He always goes on about ?daddy? all the time. I work part time, so am with him 2 days a week looking after him, but would like him to want me more too. Anyone else have children that are either real daddys or mummy?s girls/boys?

Hi Kt, just wanted to say that DS (now 2.11) went through a good 6 months of being daddy crazy which really made me sad (although I did pretend to be cool about it). This was followed by a mum crazy few months and now it's more even but some days only one of us will do. Hang on in there, your mummy time will come around!

My daughter rejects me for my husband. I feel your pain.

My DS is like this but with his GPs. I always think it's because when they have him or see him they have 100% of the time to devote to him with no distractions whereas I on the other hand have a house to clean, grass to mow, dinner to make, baths to run etc.

One of my DSes was like this when he was about one. Don't worry, it won't always be like that.
