My Dsis is in hospital so I am looking after my DNephew for the day.

He is up dressed, clean nappies twice (boak) and has had breakfast. But now what?

Yes I know a stupid question but I didn't have much notice to look after him Hmm

Get yourself to the park. that'll take an hour
Do you know if he naps during the day? mine used to nap 8-10 and 2-4.
get some saucepans out and a wooden spoon. or maybe put some dried pasta in the pan (watch he doesn't eat it). that's another hour.
if you have his pushchair, pop him in it and go for a walk. he'll be quite happy gazing out.

and DEFS put the telly on when you are really struggling!

My DD isn't quite 1 yet but some things do are play hide and seek, she's just crawling and follows me every where so ill go and hide somewhere ovb and she'll crawl to me and screams with delight when she gets to me. Play with pots and pans or anything that can rustle together (she loves playing with a pack of wipes rustling them it an entertain her for a good 20-30min). Go to the park. Play with toys. Read stories.

I hope you have a good day. You could check the Internet and see if there's a local baby and toddler group on near you

park or soft play sleep on the way back then just general wandering about , if u have a cupboard with only safe things like pots nothing sharp or breakable open that and let him pull everything out of it.
