Hi all I have a 16 week baby and he wnt settle with out me in room help

I would think that most babies are the same. DS is 21 months and we have never even tried to settle him on his own. Would you be able carry your baby in a sling?

that's pretty normal. what settling methods have you tried so far? I have an almost 9 month old and I still don't usually leave the room til she's asleep. At 16 weeks, all day sleeps were on me or in the pram and she would go down asleep in bed at night but only at about 9.30!

my 15 week old settled on his own last night for the first time and I'm still not sure how, think the stars must have a lined correctly

normally he's on me for final settle of the day. With my dd we started trying to encourage her to self settle at around this age but it was a one night a week success rate for a long time.

Thanks for advice I got him to settle twice last week by himself but that it never mind will just enjoy cuddles for longer he goes down when we go to bed fine self soothes aswell its just when we are not there and he knows if I'm pretending to do it lol never mind thanks again
