Can I start wearing underwired bras ??

Hi all,

Going back to work soon and I need new non-feeding bras. DS is almost 10 mo and only feeds mornings, evening and once during the night...

I had stopped wearing under-wired bras during pregnancy and after birth (as instructed by MWs)... Can I wear them during the day now that DS isn't feeding that often ??

Thanks in advance :)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes, just make sure that they fit and don't press on breast tissue.

By DD2 I had underwired bras throughout pregnancy and underwired nursing bras. Tis a myth you can't have them - you just can't have badly fitting ones.

Yes! I had a great fitting at Rigby and Peller, it's bliss having underwired nursing bras! I started wearing them when baby was 6mo, still breastfeeding.

I wore them on and off pretty much immediately and had no issues with breastfeeding my son till 20 months. Just keep an eye on it I guess! I reckon it would be fairly obvious if you were getting sore
