Try nearer three ... if you want to try in the summer, maybe next year! Or any time he's ready - if he's really ready then he can do it any time. It doesn't need to be the summer.

Unless he's showing signs of being ready, there's no rush. And if he's reluctant then he's telling you he's not ready.

in my country (Italy) they start training at two....

they think three is too late.......
