My ds is 5 yo but I am struggling with how he plays with his friends. All their games involve fighting and death! Is this normal? When do u get involved? Is this conflict essential for their development in later life?

The wrestling thing makes me very uncomfortable. Am I over-reacting?

I don't think the sex of the child has anything to do with what behaviour should be accepted and what should be stopped. ACTING out death/war/baddie/goodie situations is normal but ACTUALLY HITTING/PUSHING etc IMO is not on whether child is male or female. Imaginative play is one thing but acts of physical vilence do not need to be tolerated.
