What do you mean my a bouncer? One of those fabric chairs you lay them in?

I'd suggest cheap as you can - they don't need to vibrate or sing tunes, and you can only use them until LO can sit (or is trying to!). An activity arch can be a good addition, but you can buy these for use separately in which case they are better value.

I second buying a cheap one i got one from toys r us nothing fancy but had baby head rest and my lo loved it especially when he realised he was making it bounce. It cost about £10 and as soon as he could sit at 5 months he had to come out of it as he was pulling forward and i was glad i hadn't spent alto of money on it like i did with the swing that he absolutely hated

We have the Bjorn one and it is good (although my lo is only just really liking it at 14 wks) - I have friends whose babies will nod off to sleep in theirs. They have good resale value on eBay, so I figured even if we don't use it that long we'll be able to well it on without too much of a loss.

As cheap as you can find!

We bought one for DS and he never liked it. The only use it got was sitting in it while I made his feed up as he would not lie flat on his back due to reflux. He wasn't even happy in it for that short time.

And, as another poster said, they can only use it until they're trying to sit up - toppling out of it isn't a good look.

If I were looking again now, i'd honestly look on the buy/sell/swap pages local to me on Facebook, or ebay etc.

The Baby Bjorn one is great, but yes, pricey. However it is well made, seems comfy and supportive, and lasts well into toddlerhood (DS used his til about two) when the crotch strap bit has been removed. It also looks a lot better than many bouncers, and is easy to flatten. Washes well. I pretty much loved it!
