my DD seems to be craving milk like it's going out of fashion. she just had two molars through recently and think the uppers might be on the way. She is eating other stuff just about and I am not overly concerned but interested to see if it is a common thing?

Sounds normal to me. My dd in particular craves milk if she isn't feeling too good. Smile

Just be aware that too much cows' milk can limit the bodies ability to absorb iron and lead to anaemia. I'm going to limit DS's (2.11) intake for this reason. He adores milk but I think he's filling up on milk rather than eat other foods so I need to start discouraging this. A new battle, sigh! Aware that your DD is somewhat younger tho.

Milk is seen as comforting by a lot of little ones so it probably soothes her if she's in pain or discomfort.

My 23mo is demanding a lot of yoghurt at the moment, which I've put down to the heat. Could it just be that - can you try offering water or yoghurt as an alternative?
