Cot bumper?

Hi all

Just about to start transitioning little one from co sleeping to cot bed as she's crawling like mad and has begun using the side crib despite it being way too small. However, she's flailing around a lot in this heat and not wearing a gro bag. She's banging her head and getting limbs tangled. I know this crib is too small but I was pondering a breathable cot bumper. Any good?

Also we only have 2 open sides so do I need to put a bumper on the closed sides too for when she's launching herself with full force round the cot?

We considered it with DS but he was so wriggly that I couldn't see any way to do it safely. The phase only lasts a short time and she'll soon learn not to injure herself, honest!

No to bumper but airflow wraps are great fir preventing trapped limbs.

They're mesh so breathable, they dint solve bashed heads but trapped limbs are a lot worse to deal with.

We've used these for a while now, our 5mo DS is a realy wriggler and often ends up a long way from where we put her down to sleep! She sleeps in a full size cotbed and has done since 12 weeks. These bumpers are made from breathable fabric and wrap around using velcro, they've been really good so far, stay in place and don't sag.

Yes I meant airflow ones. Sleep deprivation doesn't look good on me does it?

I ordered airflow for the two sides and assumed she'll learn the hard way with the tops. She keeps tangling her legs reverse crawling at the moment so I as aware I need something for a while.
