What's the best website to back up all the baby photos and how do I do it?

Hi there,

Sorry if this is a bit of a strange one but I have downloaded dropbox to my Windows 8 laptop and dropped some photos into the icon on my desktop but when I log into my dropbox profile the photos are not visible there? AM I doing something wrong and I'm desperate to get my baby's first 5 months photos and films backed up? Is dropbox the best option ...all thoughts very welcome please! Thanks a mill.

We bought an external hard drive and backed them up on there.

Picasa is good - no limit and free. You just need a google account.

External hard drive or USB sticks.

I just create albums on Snapfish, tis also handy for the obligatory Granny Christmas calendar gift

We also have them all backed up on Amazon cloud.

we've put ours on boots photo (can make cards on there too)

they've got an offer on where if you sign up (free) you get 100 free 6 x 4 prints. I love my tech but it's lovely having an album of the best baby pics too

We use Dropbox although I have the app on my iPhone/iPad and is very easy to download the photos, never had a problem and we have hundreds of photos on there. I'm not sure about windows 8 as I don't use it so it could be a settings thing, not that that helps much I did have issues on my old laptop (vista). We hate windows it's why we got iPad x

May sound a bit condescending but are you putting the photos in correctly? When you say dropped photos into the icon I'm not sure how that could work. It needs logging into photo album and using add to album button and selecting photos to download. Also they can take a while to download if you have a lot. Sorry if I'm being obvious x
