Hello all,

Just need a bit of advice really. At what age can a child have a pillow? My ds 15 months has started to pile up the couple of teddies in his cot to make a makeshift pillow when he's going to sleep. I wondered if he wanted/ is ready for a pillow? Does anyone know the official guidelines on pillows for toddlers?

Thanks in advance! Smile

No idea about official guidelines but if he's making himself a make shift one then it's probably safer to have a proper one than a make shift one.

Hi CalamityJ,

Thanks for your reply! I think I'll look into it

Over 12 months is the recommended age. How cute is your toddler! We bought a pillow and duvet a few weeks back (ds 21mo) got a bit over enthusiastic about ds refusing sleeping bags but they live in the cupboard for now, until ds stops performing complicated gymnastic moves in his sleep!
