My 14 month old dd is currently just fitting into 12-18m sleeping bags and I don't know whether to buy bigger ones or switch to blankets?

Also which type of blankets should I use? I've got all the normal sized ones from when she was born and one large cellular blanket which she was bought for Christmas, also have a cot quilt or is she too young for that?

If he's just fitting do you mean he's getting too big or just started using?

I switcher ds to blankets when he went into a bed at 20 months - he was just fitting in his. I did buy the size up in grobags but never needed them. We got a 4 tog duvet (which was far too hot until winter) and used a cellular blanket inside the duvet cover for warmer nights.
