Can anyone recommend a good parenting book?? I have a 18 month old who is driving me insane with endless tantrums! Want to deal with it correctly so she doesn't get worse. I'm finding myself ranting and raving and feeling really frustrated that nothing I do seems to have any effect! Need a good book with good advice!!
Any recommendations greatly appreciated! Grin

Well she's 18 months - stay calm and remember she's very little still! Distraction, try not to say no but tell her what to do and take account of tiredness and hunger.

i really like tracy hogg's 'secrets of the baby whisperer - for toddlers'. it really helped me to cope with my 18mo's tantrums. all seems much calmer in my house since i read her advice

hope this helps

Thanks guys, I'll look into those books. Great advice about not saying 'no' too much. I really over use 'no' which means it had no effect.!
