Just how does one answer a Short Answer Question well?

500 word limit. Surely that's just a dumbed down essay? Anybody got some pointers before I cry whilst simultaneously moving house, home edding the kids and pack to take the kids away for five weeks ( a whole other thread, I am an idiot...)

Definitely not a dumbed downed essay! To do it well you need to show that you can determine the key points that answer the question, then write concisely and clearly without rambling. Think of quality newspaper/magazine content....

If you can provide a clear, well elaborated example so much the better but that obviously depends on the question.

Thanks. You see, I should appreciate that but I'm still annoyed by the format!

It's psychology. 4 SAQs. I can't quite figure out how to write the answers concisely enough to also show wider reading with reference to recent research. I guess I will be editing a lot and it will be good for by habitual waffling habit
