Those days where they want you not the toys.

What do you do when your small children have the most wonderful toys, usually play nicely. But the past two weeks thy will just follow me and be at my ankles. When I'm trying to do breakfast for example. (2.5yr and 12m)

I feel I have a very attached Bond with them, and try my best to attach/gentle parent them.

They are fine 99% of the time. Just the past two weeks!

I am almost 11week with dc2, maybe they sense this?

I am going to sort their toys out this weekend too as toy rotation is needed and de-clutter the toys is needed. Argh!

That's just an age thing? I end up picking one up, do cooking with one hand, put one down, cuddle the next one, distract briefly with dry cereal etc etc. where is your DH? Can he help?

At work.

Oh yes, I understand its the ages, I just want to sort the toys out to help as I find it doesn't seem interesting to them having lots out. It's just a morning time when I'm trying to get us all sorted, and then it just takes forever as they have moments of cuddling my legs! Most mornings it's brilliant, it's just the small minority of days that happen. And I'm probably just feeling it more when I'm tired myself! Lol

After a great morning at our local group, they're good. Wink
