Spotty Box... Need suggestions

Hi,

My gorgeous godson (4) had the dreaded pox, I want to do a spotty box, a shoe box filled with things to keep him amused and to hopefully take some stress away from my Bf (being at home with two littles not so fun), so I have so far.... cress seeds with jam jar, colouring book and pens. Can anyone help me with any suggestions to fill the spotty box? Thanks in advance!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

That's a lovely idea.

How about bubbles, a disposable camera (DD used to love them even if half her photos were unrecognisable), a plain photo frame and stickers to decorate it with?

Is he into stickers? All kids like bubbles. Silly putty (that makes fatty noises as a bonus). Those fuzzy worm things that look like they move by themselves. We saw them in the science museum and DS's friend aged 4 1/2 was obsessed with it. Most toy shops probably have them! Ummm flip book (you know with pictures that look like they move?), those magnetic faces with a magnet pen and iron filings inside that you make "facial hair" with are usually popular. This is probably all crap - I'm thinking of the reception aged kids I used to teach!

What a nice idea though - you sound like a brilliant friend Smile

(That was farty noises, not fatty)

Great idea, used to love silly putty myself as a kid...am going to seek out some tomorrow. And look for some fuzzy worms... You ladies are brilliant I just got as far as decorating a shoe box with spotty paper!
