Apparently my husbands tax code is usually used to denote a further income. It is an error but I procrastinated and HMRC are taking ages, they sent the wrong doc and we had to request another. Uni have written saying itis fine in as much as I will still get the grant once it is sorted (we are under the threshold - just) but that apparently the maximum amount will no longer cover my fees so I have to find £1400 for the remainder as I will miss the deadline for any bursaries etc.
I feel hugely stressed. It is partly my fault for not getting it done sooner, but I am now in a position where I am going back to work since we have pretty much lived the last two years on the breadline but need my salary to pay off other debts (not huge but substantial enough to take a few months salary), I have no idea how I can pay this £1400.
I won't get this years results until the fees are paid which is going to be embarrassing when my friends start asking.
I just want to scream. I will have to pay my own fees this year anyway as the 6 months I worked will take us about 2k over the cut off but will now be playing catch up.
I know I have to just do it but I am so annoyed with myself primarily but with everything.
