dh and I took dd into town today, to save hassle on parking as kids are off this week we decided to take the bus. On the way back a women was sat on the other side of the bus facing dd so dd being at that age starting smiling at her this went on for 10mins or so, when the women was getting off she stuffed a pound coin in dd hand saying how lovely she was, awwww bless how nice is that

sigh what a lovely thing to hear after so much angst on here of late. how lovely for your dd too - to see someone respond in such a nice way

Stanger helped DH carry DS's pram down escalator that wasn't working. We didn't ask, we were discussing how to carry and he just came along, took one end and off he went.
Made my day.

what a fab thread to start

dd (2 1/2) was in a shop the other week when a lady dropped 5p. dd picked up said 5p, looked up at this lady and said "here you are". lady said "thankyou" and put 5p in her pocket. i would have let dd keep it personally but then who am i to grumble? proud of dd [big smiley proud emoticon]

Well my halo's been renewed. A man left his mobile on the bus. Ds saw it on the seat and we met the man to return his phone back to him th enext day. To say he was surprised to receive it was an understatement!! Now if only I can resist the peanut butter kit kat chunky bars!
